Why I Built Hyderabad Startup Map
An interactive map of Hyderabad startups — and the simple question that led me to build it.
A few weeks ago, I was scrolling through the Bangalore Startup Map.
It was clean. Useful. Full of energy.
I kept thinking about how easy it made discovering what was being built in the city.
Then a simple question hit me.
Why not Hyderabad?
We have Skyroot launching rockets.
Darwinbox becoming a unicorn.
HighRadius, Zenoti, NxtWave, Swipe and hundreds of other companies building quietly from HITEC City, Gachibowli and Madhapur.
But there was no single place where you could actually see the ecosystem.
No map.
No easy way to explore.
No simple way for founders to get listed.
So I decided to build one.
Hyderabad Startup Map is an interactive map of startups based in Hyderabad.
You can explore companies across AI, SaaS, FinTech, SpaceTech, HealthTech and more.
You can see where they are located, what sector they belong to, and get a clearer picture of the city’s startup landscape.
The goal was simple: make the Hyderabad ecosystem more visible and easier to navigate.
I didn’t want to build something complicated.
I wanted something that felt useful the moment you open it.
A map you can actually explore.
A place where founders can submit their startups.
A small directory that grows with the city.
If you’re looking for startups in Hyderabad, it helps you discover what’s being built.
If you’re a founder, it gives you a simple way to get listed and be found.
Building this also reminded me of something important.
Sometimes the most useful products come from a very personal frustration.
I wanted a map for my own city.
It didn’t exist.
So I made one.
You can explore it here:

If you’re building in Hyderabad, feel free to submit your startup through the form.
And if you find it useful, I’d love if you shared it with someone who might need it.
